Born into the fourth generation of a Texas cattle ranching family, singer, songwriter, and storyteller, Jill Riley, now resides in Tennessee—the land her great-grandfather left in search of land out west. Embracing her rich heritage, she pens informative, introspective,  and "innertaining" content. Driven by a deep love for the Commoners of America, Jill’s work champions mutual respect and celebrates the common ground that connects us all.

Jill built a wildly diverse career spanning corporate law, the energy market, accounting software development, and the music business. Her professional journey includes navigating a multi-million dollar RICO case victory, launching a Texas-based natural gas firm in the deregulated market of New Mexico, remedying small business tax and debt issues, lifting them back into profit, and building a Texas-based electric service provider in the state's newly deregulated market.

Eventually pivoting back to her true passion, she combined her business acumen and artistic talents. She is the creator of the acclaimed story album, Common Ground and stage show, Return to Love which tell the story of her Texas cattle ranching family, spanning four generations. She is publishing a prototype, Common Ground Sound - Immersive Magazine. Currently, she is expanding her storytelling skillset by earning a bachelor's degree in Writing for Film and Television at The Los Angeles Film School, graduating in December of 2026.
