The Truth About The Wildfires in America
I’ve written three social posts this week about the wildfires in America. I was asked to get involved in writing songs and producing music videos regarding the Smokehouse Creek Fire (Texas 2024). I recruited some Texas and Nashville based songwriters, musicians, and producers to help with the project. The more I looked into this fire and all of the ongoing fires, the more I began to question things.
I really try to stay out of the rabbit hole, but it is becoming more and more challenging. I pray for answers to come to those who can do something about it, if this is indeed any kind of foul play. I’ve noticed that not many in the media are talking about this. When the Palisades burned, we heard more about it because it involved the homes of high-profile celebrities. I’m wondering why there isn’t a bigger uprising of questioning from American citizens.
It seems we have been so bombarded with so many crises since 2019, that I wonder if we are possibly giving up the fight. I pray not. I pray that people band together and talk about this. We can’t allow hopelessness to get the best of us in the ongoing fight for America. I’m not necessarily crying “conspiracy!” here, but a conversation about better preventative measures is maybe worthwhile. I’m also not trying to suggest that those conversations are not taking place, and the fight is not being fought by some. I think I just feel led to encourage the Commoners (the most powerful people group in America) to rise up and speak up - a little louder maybe.
